Well, I had my first first day of school today. It was basically just as I had expected. I had my personal fitness class first (classes are hour and a half by the way) and we basically were lectured on class rules and expectations...ect. We got locks and lockers and that was about it. I didn't like my teacher for that very much, and I've already come up with some good ideas for cheating if need be in that class...hehe...I never use them but always think of them.
And then it was Biology. I don't like science very much but this teacher his hilarious beyond all reason and I love her so I think this class will be fun. Though we do go over Evolution at the end of the year...fun. But she was great, so that'll be good I guess.
So basically, my first day was ok all in all. I can't wait for the long weekend. Hope you all have been having a good week!
Next was Jewelry. The teacher for that is a guy and he's just weird. REALLY WEIRD. We had a bagel burn in the cafeteria while I was in that class so we had to go outside like a fire drill. That took thirty mins. Fun. I made two rings, they were pretty good. I know a few people in that class so that'll be ok.
Had lunch, sat with the same girls I sat with last year and disliked. I'm definitely going to change my lunch buddies. A bunch of slightly snobby popular girls. So I have some other friends with the same lunch that I'm going to hang out with next time. My last class was US History. That was interesting. I dislike my teacher in there, she's going to turn out to be the typical Liberal Union "Educator". Fun fun. Ahh well, covering the Civil War first and that'll be interesting since she bears many common misconceptions about it.
PS Reading Tale of Two Cities right now by Charles Dickens. It reminds me of a quote, "Classics are the books everyone wants to have read, but no one wants to read." The book is kind of boring and I wonder where it's going most of the time. Beautiful language but the plot is kinda blah so far. I'll keep ya updated, seeing as how everyone is a English Classics fan. lol.
It's like being caught in a machine where they try to squeeze the life out of you!! I come home and I'm exhausted! *sniffle* I'm so sad...Well, I got back from Texas on the 9th. It was an interesting trip...."unforgettable" is the right word I think. Had a big blow up with my uncle half way through the nine day trip...*sigh*....that was a big mess. I think alchohol is the undoing of some men's character.
Please go check this out and watch this video, it's about five minutes long but it's totaly worth it. It's about the Muslim conflict. http://switch5.castup.net/frames/20041020_MemriTV_Popup/video_480x360.asp?ai=214&ar=1050wmv&ak=null
